Judenmarkt, Dominikanerplatz, Börneplatz: the current Börneplatz in the center of Frankfurt was a main hub of past Jewish life in Frankfurt. The tour takes a stroll through the square's eventful history from the first signs of Jewish life in the Middle Ages to the days of the Judengasse and through the Nazi era of destruction to the Börneplatz conflict. The tour focuses on this place, which bore significant witness to Frankfurt’s Jewish history.
